It might not be the first thing that comes to mind when you think about the Kia Soul Hamsters (“are they CGI or are there people inside?” may come to mind), but the common theme in all of their commercials, besides the vehicle itself, is music. From using songs by classic rap outfit Black Sheep to current pop stars Maroon 5, the hamsters have always had a fun, eclectic soundtrack. And the same goes for their new ad campaign for the 2016 Kia Soul and 2016 Kia Soul EV, “The World Needs More Soul,” with leadoff ad “Share Some Soul” showing the hamsters taking “Dueling Banjos” in an unexpected and thoroughly fun direction.
