2020 Kia Forte Naples FL

2020 Kia Forte Exterior Driver Side Profile

The current Kia lineup is relatively young as a whole. The brand shifted gears in a major way several years ago, introducing several new models. Even more recently, the brand introduced the Kia Stinger and shifted its entire design philosophy to something a bit sportier in response to its popularity. The 2020 Kia Forte, which is now available here in Naples FL, is one such affected model.

Just redesigned last year, the Kia Forte is one of the freshest vehicles on the lineup. Not much has changed for the new 2020 model year due to the recent overhaul, but the brand did add two new trim levels to the mix: GT Line and GT. These introduce an extra layer of sport and performance to the Forte family and the lineup as a whole.

Specs & Features of the 2020 Forte

In total, there are five trim levels, some of which are further split by transmission options. The choices are FE (which you can equip with either the manual or intelligently variable transmission), LXS, GT-Line, EX and GT (which you can equip with either the manual or dual-clutch transmission). These trims are powered by two different engine options.

Most of the models are equipped with the standard 2.0L 4-cylinder option, which is capable of generating 147 horsepower alongside 132 pound-feet of torque. The top-of-the-line GT trim level, however, is instead powered by a 1.6L turbocharged 4-cylinder engine capable of generating 201 horsepower alongside 195 pound-feet of torque, certainly kicking things up a notch.

Moving away from performance, the entire Forte family is equipped with a ton of great driver-assistive safety features to make sure you are as safe as possible each time you hit the road. Forward Collision Warning, Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist, Lane Departure Warning, Lane Keeping Assist-Line and Driver Attention Warning are all standard technologies across the board. Additionally, Blind Spot Collision Warning with Lane Change Assist and Rear-Cross Traffic Collision Warning come standard on the EX and GT-Line trims and are available on the GT. Furthermore, Smart Cruise Control and Parking Distance Warning – Reverse are both available on the GT trim.
