2025 Kia K4

The 2025 K4 is available in four trims: LX, LXS, EX, and GT-Line. The base LX trim comes with 16-inch steel wheels and LED headlights with star-map daytime running lights for a modern touch. The LXS has upgraded 16-inch alloy wheels and retains the LED lighting elements from the LX. The EX trim adds sophistication with uniquely designed 17-inch alloy wheels, a power sunroof, and chrome door handles that complement its upscale look.

The GT-Line redefines the K4's style with 18-inch alloy wheels, LED cube projector headlights, and sport-designed front and rear bumpers. Kia also includes gloss black accents throughout. The side mirrors have integrated LED turn signals for added functionality.

The LX, LXS, and EX models are powered by a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine producing 147 horsepower at 6,200 rpm and 132 pound-feet of torque at 4,500 rpm. This engine pairs with an intelligent variable transmission and has a compression ratio of 12.5:1 with a final gear ratio of 5.149:1.

The GT-Line features a more potent 1.6-liter turbocharged engine delivering 190 horsepower at 6,000 rpm and 195 pound-feet of torque between 1,700 and 4,500 rpm. This powerplant connects to an eight-speed automatic transmission with a compression ratio of 10.0:1 and a final gear ratio of 3.367:1. The GT-Line reaches a top speed of 130 mph, while other trims max out at 124 mph.

The K4 comes standard with drive mode select, offering normal, sport, and smart modes across all trims. The electric power steering system provides variable assistance to enhance steering feel and response. Front-wheel drive is standard across the lineup. The GT-Line elevates performance with a sport-tuned multi-link rear suspension and paddle shifters. It accelerates to 60 mph in 7.1 seconds and completes the quarter mile in 15.5 seconds at 91.8 mph. The GT-Line demonstrates impressive handling capabilities and can brake from 60 mph to zero in 120 feet.

A 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system and digital instrument cluster are standard across all K4 models. The LX and LXS feature cloth seating, and Kia upgrades the EX and GT-Line to synthetic leather. Four USB-C ports and wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity are included on all trims. The EX and GT-Line come with dual-zone automatic climate control and heated front seats.

The GT-Line additionally offers ventilated front sport seats with special stitching, color-selectable ambient lighting, and an AI assistant. The K4 provides 98.7 cubic feet of passenger volume (95.8 with sunroof) and 14.6 cubic feet of cargo space. Front passengers enjoy 39 inches of headroom and 42.3 inches of legroom, while rear passengers benefit from 37-37.3 inches of headroom and a class-leading 38 inches of legroom.

Kia has equipped every K4 with 11 standard collision avoidance technologies, including forward-collision avoidance assist, lane following assist, lane-keeping assist, and pedestrian/cyclist detection. The LXS adds blind-spot collision warning and rear cross-traffic collision warning. The EX includes safe exit warning and highway driving assist. The GT-Line offers the most comprehensive safety package with navigation-based smart cruise control and 360° surround view and blind-spot view monitors, creating multiple layers of protection for drivers and passengers.
