The 2025 Kia Sorento comes in eight trims. The base LX features 17-inch alloy wheels and LED headlights. The S and EX add 18-inch alloy wheels and roof rails, while the SX upgrades to 20-inch wheels and adds a panoramic sunroof. Gloss-black accents and a specialized grille design enhance the X-Line models. With 17-inch alloy wheels wrapped in BF Goodrich all-terrain tires and 8.4 inches of ground clearance, the X-Pro SX Prestige boasts superior off-road capabilities.

A 2.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine powers the entire lineup, delivering 281 horsepower and 311 pound-feet of torque. This engine pairs with an eight-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission, providing smooth, responsive performance. Front-wheel drive is standard on the LX, S, EX, and SX trims, while all the X-Line and X-Pro models include all-wheel drive. With its center-locking differential, the X-Pro SX Prestige offers enhanced off-road performance.

The Sorento accelerates from 0 to 60 mph in 6.3 seconds, has a towing capacity of up to 3,500 pounds, and delivers fuel-economy ratings of 20 to 23 mpg in the city and 27 to 31 mpg on the highway. Drive Mode Select is standard on all trims, offering Comfort, Eco, Sport, and Smart settings.
