2027 Kia EV3: A Smart, All-Electric SUV for Life in Naples

The all-new 2027 Kia EV3 brings fully electric driving to a compact SUV designed around everyday practicality. With an EPA-estimated range of up to 321 miles, a standard NACS charging port, flexible interior space, and a wide selection of technology and driver-assistance features, the EV3 offers a convenient way to make the switch to electric driving. Kia describes the EV3 as its most affordable EV, with a starting MSRP of $29,890 before destination and handling charges.

For drivers in Naples, the EV3 is particularly well suited to a lifestyle that can include daily commuting, trips around town, errands, and longer drives throughout Southwest Florida. Its compact SUV dimensions make it easy to maneuver through city streets and parking areas, while the available long-range battery can provide plenty of flexibility between charging stops. Whether you're heading across Naples for the day or planning a weekend drive along Florida's Gulf Coast, the 2027 Kia EV3 combines electric efficiency with the versatility expected from an SUV.

2027 Kia EV3 Trim Levels

Kia offers the 2027 EV3 in five distinct trims: Light, Wind, Land, GT-Line, and GT. Depending on the trim, drivers can choose front-wheel drive or available dual-motor all-wheel drive, along with different battery capacities and equipment levels.

EV3 Light

The Light establishes the EV3 lineup with a practical approach to electric driving. It uses a 58.3-kWh battery and offers an EPA-estimated 221 miles of all-electric range. Standard equipment includes a 12.3-inch dual panoramic display setup with navigation, 17-inch alloy wheels, rear privacy glass, a North American Charging System (NACS) port, and Auto Emergency Braking technology.

EV3 Wind

The Wind moves to Kia's larger 81.4-kWh battery and can provide an EPA-estimated 321 miles of range in front-wheel-drive configuration. Available all-wheel drive adds dual-motor capability for drivers who want additional traction. The Wind can also offer features such as SynTex seating, heated front seats, a power driver's seat, and wireless smartphone charging.

EV3 Land

The Land builds on the Wind with additional convenience, technology, and styling features. It is available with front-wheel drive or dual-motor e-AWD, while the larger battery provides the long-range capability that makes the EV3 especially practical for drivers who regularly travel beyond Naples.

EV3 GT-Line

The GT-Line gives the EV3 a more distinctive appearance with GT-Line styling and available premium features. It comes with all-wheel drive and the 81.4-kWh battery, with an EPA-estimated 280-mile range. Features can include 19-inch gloss-black alloy wheels, a wide sunroof, SynTex seating, and a dark two-tone interior.

EV3 GT

The GT is the performance-focused member of the EV3 family. Its dual-motor all-wheel-drive system produces up to 288 horsepower and 345 lb.-ft. of torque. The GT also features sport-oriented seating and interior details, a 12-inch head-up display, LED ambient lighting, and enhanced Auto Emergency Braking technology. Its EPA-estimated range is 280 miles.

Electric Range and Charging

One of the EV3's biggest advantages is the amount of driving range available from its larger battery. The Wind FWD and Land FWD can achieve an EPA-estimated 321 miles of all-electric range, giving drivers substantial flexibility for everyday driving as well as longer trips. The GT-Line and GT offer an EPA-estimated 280 miles of range. Actual range will vary according to driving conditions, weather, temperature, driving habits, vehicle configuration, and other factors.

The EV3 also comes equipped with a built-in NACS charging port. Kia says the EV3 can access more than 30,000 Tesla Superchargers, while Kia Charge Pass provides access to a broader network of public DC fast chargers. With compatible DC fast-charging equipment, the EV3 can recharge from 10% to 80% in approximately 31 minutes, with the Light capable of completing the same range in approximately 29 minutes.

For Naples-area drivers, that combination of range and charging flexibility can make electric ownership easier to integrate into a normal routine. Home charging can handle much of the everyday driving, while DC fast charging can provide a convenient option when you're preparing for a longer trip.

Comfortable and Flexible SUV Interior

The EV3 is designed to provide a relaxed cabin while maintaining the flexibility expected from an SUV. Its interior uses an open-concept center console and available power front seats with driver memory and relaxation mode. Heated and ventilated front seats and a heated steering wheel are available for added comfort.

Cargo versatility is another practical advantage. The EV3 features a dual-level cargo floor and 60/40 split-folding rear seats, allowing the interior to adapt between passengers, groceries, luggage, recreational equipment, and other everyday cargo.

That flexibility can be useful in Naples, where one day may involve routine errands and the next may call for beach gear, luggage, or supplies for a weekend away. The EV3's compact SUV format provides a balance between maneuverability and useful interior space without requiring a larger vehicle.

Technology Designed Around Everyday Driving

Technology is integrated throughout the EV3, beginning with its available digital display setup. The model offers a 12.3-inch instrument display, 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment display, and 5-inch climate display, creating nearly 30 inches of combined digital display area.

Available technology can include a 360-degree Surround View Monitor, Blind-Spot View Monitor, head-up display, wireless phone charging, ambient lighting, and additional convenience features depending on trim. The EV3 also supports Plug & Charge capability through Kia Charge Pass at participating public charging stations, helping simplify the charging process.

Confidence on the Road

The 2027 Kia EV3 includes a broad collection of driver-assistance technologies. Standard equipment includes Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist, while available systems can add features such as Blind-Spot View Monitor and Surround View Monitor. Kia also equips the EV3 with eight airbags.

Available dual-motor e-AWD can provide additional traction and control when road conditions call for it. While Southwest Florida does not typically experience the winter conditions that make all-wheel drive particularly important in colder climates, the added traction can still be useful when navigating wet roads during Florida's rainy weather.

Why the 2027 Kia EV3 Makes Sense in Naples, FL

The EV3's combination of compact SUV versatility, electric range, technology, and charging capability makes it a natural fit for many drivers around Naples. The available 321-mile EPA-estimated range can reduce the need for frequent charging during normal daily use, while the standard NACS port expands public charging options for longer journeys.

Its compact footprint is also well suited to everyday driving in Naples, where maneuverability and easy parking can be valuable. Inside, flexible seating and cargo space give the EV3 the versatility to handle errands and everyday activities without moving into a larger SUV.

For drivers considering their first electric vehicle, the EV3 also offers an approachable entry point into Kia's EV lineup. With a starting MSRP of $29,890 for the Light FWD, it combines a relatively accessible starting price with modern EV technology and SUV practicality.
