The 2025 Kia EV6 is an electric crossover that shatters expectations with its quick-charging capability, long range, and powerful motor options. Drivers also love its advanced tech features, which take safety, convenience, and entertainment to a new level.
1. Advanced Electric Powertrain Options
Whether you’re a thrill seeker or a driver looking to maximize efficiency, the EV6 has a powertrain for you. Its entry-level Light trim comes with rear-wheel drive, a 63.0-kWh lithium-ion battery, and a permanent magnet AC synchronous motor that makes 167 horsepower and 258 lb.-ft. of torque. This powertrain averages a manufacturer-estimated 115 MPGe combined efficiency and travels 237 miles on a fully charged battery.
The Light Long Range, Wind, and GT-Line trims are available with front-wheel or all-wheel drive, and come equipped with a larger 84.0-kWh lithium-ion battery. With front-wheel drive, these models have a motor that creates 225 horsepower and 258 lb.-ft. of torque while averaging 114 MPGe combined and traveling up to 319 miles on a full charge. Upgrade to all-wheel drive for 320 horsepower and 446 lb.-ft. of torque, plus 106 MPGe combined efficiency and up to 295 miles of range.
2. Navigation and Infotainment Touchscreen
Inside the EV6, information is clearly displayed on two 12.3-inch displays, including the instrument display and a touchscreen for navigation and infotainment settings. Whether you choose the six-speaker audio system or the available 14-speaker Meridian premium audio system, you’ll be able to see song names and audio settings on this display. It also connects wirelessly to your compatible smartphone with Android Auto or Apple CarPlay for streaming audio, driving directions, calls, and more.
3. Highway Driving Assist
When you’re on compatible highways, the EV6 can help you out with acceleration, braking, and steering using standard Highway Driving Assist. This system detects the vehicle ahead and lane markers, then uses that information to keep you inside your lane and at a safe following distance. Highway Driving Assist 2, which is optional on the Light Long Range trim level and standard on Wind and GT-Line trims, can even assist with lane changes when you activate your turn signal.
4. Kia Connect
Every new EV6 comes with 3 years of Kia Connect service at no additional charge, putting a remote connection to your vehicle in the palm of your hand with your smartphone and the Kia Access App. Use the app to start or stop charging your vehicle’s battery or create a charging schedule. You can also set the cabin temperature before you get inside, remotely lock the doors, and find your EV6’s location on a map.
