Athletic yet elegant, the 2025 K5 is designed to stand out. This year’s model boasts aggressive looks with a prominent front fascia enhanced by a honeycomb-style grille that ensures proper airflow for improved engine cooling. Signature LED exterior lights with amber daytime running lights boost your visibility and keep you more visible in traffic. LED fog lights come standard on select trim levels for enhanced illumination in adverse weather.
To make this stylish model your own, you can choose from stunning wheels or customize your vehicle with one of the classic or bold color options, including Runaway Red on all trim levels and Yacht Blue on the upper trims. The interior is just as stylish, with black cloth seating surfaces on the entry model and SynTex on the higher trims. Most trim levels boast exclusive upholstery stitching and styling elements that give a unique look to the cabin.

Hybrid Innovation: The 2025 Kia Sorento Plug-In Hybrid
The EX AWD has an estimated combined mileage of 33 MPG with the gas-only engine and a combined EPA-estimated mileage of 74 MPGe when the PHEV motor is fully active. The gas-only 1.6-liter turbocharged motor provides 177 horsepower and 195 lb-ft of torque, while the electric drive motor provides 91 horsepower and 224 lb-ft of torque. The combined output of this high-performance PHEV is 261 horsepower and 258 lb-ft of torque.
The responsiveness of the PHEV motor is balanced out by a six-speed automatic transmission with selectable drive modes that can be selected on a shifter dial knob. If you rely on EV performance for short-distance travel, the hybrid battery can be recharged in about four hours with an at-home plug. The AWD drivetrain has torque-vectoring technology and a center-locking differential to refine the on-road performance of the PHEV.
